While investigating some wreckage not far from settler's reach, you encounter a Spatial Anomaly. Chase after it, discovering that once caught, you can leap to great heights. Your prodigious leaps are a side effect of the anomaly's influence on local gravitational fields.

Follow the Spatial Anomaly and attempt to catch it
Note
Follow the trail to the where the anomaly appears. When it appears jump up into it then using it's high jump ability follow it up onto the 2 hills to the right. on the second hill you will find equipment that will absorb the anomaly from you and you can communicate with the scientist and complete the quest.
